Why?
We believe that it is time to re-structure (or structure!) an effective value chain in Europe for thermoelectrics and that the solutions offered by these materials and systems need be recognised as one of the significant ways to make Europe more energy efficient in a sustainable way.
For this reason, we are organising, together with the M-era.Net project THERMOS and the Eurostars project FLEX-TEG, an Industrial Workshop where we invite all relevant stakeholders.
We think that it will be particularly interesting for all those companies that are using, or have thought about using thermoeletric devices, and for those who are looking towards that, plus of course all relevant industrial companies, startups and research actors in the field.
What?
We have a preliminary programme that you can find in full (here).
It is split in two main parts: a plenary part in the morning and early afternoon, with selected speakers from important companies and research centres, but also from the European Energy Research Alliance, as an example. In the afternoon, three different breakout sessions will touch different aspects, and participants can choose the discussion they are most interested in. A specific time will be left for networking and matchmaking, at the end of the event.

Where?
The venue for the workshop, that will be run in person, had to be moved to a different location in the same area:
Clarion and Comfort Hotels Copenhagen Airport, Ellehammersvej 20, 2770, Kastrup (see hotels website)
It is even closer to the Copenhagen airport, as it is directly connected to the arrival hall. You don’t need to leave the airport to reach the venue! Thus, easy to reach for the participants from anywhere in the world.
There is no charge for the participation of the workshop. Please note that dinner is not included in the program, but lunch and breaks during the day are.
