It ran one week ago, and now the footage from our 6th free START webinar is available for rewatching!
The event was dedicated to the topic “Innovative TE devices from EU Research and Innovation”.
In this case, we invited to speak, together with our industrial partners TEGnology and RGS Development, also the coordinator of the project THERMOS, that already collaborated with us, in particular for the Industrial Workshop that we had organised in Copenhagen in September 2024. With THERMOS, we share the goala of subsituting tellurium-containing materials to produce thermoelectric devices. They use Mg-Sb materials, we use tetrahedrites.
Here is the agenda of the webinar:
“Innovative TE devices from EU Research and Innovation” – Tuesday, March 18th (14:00 – 15:50 CET)
- 14:00 Bruno Vicenzi (European Powder Metallurgy Association) and Filipe Neves (LNEG) – Welcome and introduction
- 14:05 Hao Yin (TEGnology / START and THERMOS projects): “Thermoelectric energy harvesting, from Materials to Applications“
- 14:35 Aniruddha Ray (RGS Development / START project): “Thermoelectric Modules and Applications: An Industrial Perspective“
- 15:05 Kornelius Nielsch (IFW Dresden / THERMOS project): “Durable and sustainable thermoelectric devices made from magnesium-antimony alloys“
- 15:35 Further Q&A
- 15:50 End of webinar
You can access the footage here on the right, or in our Multimedia page, or directly here on our YouTube channel (and, as always, do not forget to subscribe to the channel!).
Thanks to the speakers and to all participants (more than 40 this time).
More webinars and events will come, as we are going to show news on our devices soon, and we are really keen on stimulating awareness on thermoelectrics in Europe with the ultimate goal of fostering a sound industrial application!
