Extended registration deadline to join the START Final Events!

The registration deadline for the START Final Workshop (Brussels, 19 May 2026) is fast approaching.

This full-day event will present the main outcomes of the START project, covering the complete pathway from secondary raw materials sourced from European mine waste to thermoelectric materials, devices, and sustainability assessment, as well as the project’s long-term legacy and future perspectives.

The programme brings together experts from across the value chain, including:

  • Raw material sourcing and mineral processing
  • Advanced material development and characterisation
  • Thermoelectric device integration and performance
  • Environmental sustainability and circularity
  • Future collaboration through the START Service Company and the Sustainable Thermoelectric Alliance
  • A final round table on the potential establishment of a European thermoelectrics association

👉 Participation is free of charge, but registration is required
📌 Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
