As the START Project enters its final year, we are proud to showcase our progress in building a sustainable EU ecosystem for thermoelectric materials. Our mission is to transform mine waste, specifically tetrahedrites, into efficient devices for waste heat recovery, bolstering the EU’s energy economy and resource resilience.

What is the programme?
The workshop features a comprehensive agenda covering the full lifecycle of thermoelectric development:

Thermoelectric Materials: An overview and a focus on sustainable raw materials from mine waste.

Technical Processing: Insights into material processing and characterization.

Applications & Devices: Deep dives into thermoelectric devices and their use in energy production and cooling.

Sustainability: A dedicated session on the START case study and the project’s expected legacy.

Registration: The workshop is free of charge, but previous registration is required.
