"START looks southwest" webinar footage now available

On 26th April, 16:00-17:15 CEST, we continued in our free webinar series by virtually crossing the Atlantic Ocean and hosting two interesting contributions about the status of the mine wastes, and the known and imagined availability of tetrahedrite in that region.

The attendees could follow 3 presentations:

  •  Introductory remarks – F. Neves, START coordinator (LNEG, Portugal)
  • Fredy Guzmán Martinez, head of Environmental Projects of the Servicio Geológico Mexicano (Mexican Geological Service)
Critical raw materials in mining environmental liabilities: A review
  • Rafael Bittencourt Lima, geological researcher at CPRM - Serviço Geológico do Brasil (Brazilian Geological Service)
"Tetrahedrite as an accessory mineral in Brazilian mineral deposits”.

The presentations were followed by some questions and discussion.

We would like to thank all participants, especially those connected early in the morning from their distant time zones, and we will be glad to have them again in our events in the future!

As we did for the first webinar, the webinar recording is now available for everyone to watch here on the website or directly on YouTube.
